Creating new knowledge

We base learning on research, evidence and reasoning. Our students investigate, reason, decide, share, conclude and expose in their daily lives, internalising the lifelong learning.

We tailor their education so that our students learn not only from the content but also from the way they acquire it.

Enquiry

Our students learn through inquiry, which characterizes the International Baccalaureate. From ages three to fifteen, they learn about the world through their own research and face real challenges to give meaning to the content of different subjects, which are learned in a cross-curricular manner.

Information users

We have implemented the most comprehensive information literacy program in Spain. From the age of three, our students learn to become independent users of information resources, knowing how to autonomously find the information they need and transform it into new knowledge.

Thus, our students contrast information, discard false news, create new knowledge by integrating previous knowledge and new understanding, cite the sources used for their work, etc.

Practical work in laboratories

Scientific experimentation occupies a prominent place in our academic project with 300 hours of practical work from eight to sixteen years of age and between 40 and 120 hours in Baccalaureate, depending on the chosen modality.

Our students enjoy the best school laboratories in Andalusia and two full-time laboratory teachers, in addition to the teaching staff corresponding to the subject.

During these internships, our students develop experimental and research skills that will be highly beneficial regardless of their eventual choice of career field.
