That's how the 2025 Open Day went!
El pasado miércoles 5 de febrero, nuestro Colegio celebró con gran entusiasmo la Jornada de Puertas AbiertasOn Wednesday 5th February, our School enthusiastically held an Open Day, an event designed to connect with families and students and to inform interested families about our educational programme. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the families who joined us on this special day, as well as to the entire educational community for their effort and dedication in making this unforgettable experience possible. y los alumnos y dar a conocer a las familias interesadas nuestra oferta educativa. Queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todas las familias que nos acompañaron en este día tan especial, así como a toda la Comunidad Educativa por su esfuerzo y dedicación para hacer posible esta experiencia inolvidable.
The day began with a welcome speech from our Director, Mr Luis Rey Goñi. Next, the students of the PYP Instrumental Ensemble surprised the audience with a concert in which they performed various pieces of music, demonstrating the talent and passion for music that we foster at our Centre.
Afterwards, families and students took part in a wide variety of activities, designed for all ages (from 0 to 18 years old) and adapted to the different educational stages: Pre-School, PYP, MYP and Baccalaureate. In total, 30 activities were carried out, reflecting the diversity of learning opportunities we offer.
Among them, the sports activities, such as climbing, and the language activities, with proposals in different languages: English, Chinese, French and German, stood out. These experiences allowed attendees to immerse themselves in language learning in a dynamic and interactive way.
In the field of science, our biology, chemistry and physics laboratories were the setting for practicals guided by the teaching team, while in the area of entrepreneurship, students explored their creative and innovative skills. In addition, through the TEKMAN methodology, Spanish Language and Literature and Mathematics activities became fun and enriching experiences.
Technology played a leading role in the Ed-Tech Room, where families were able to see first-hand how we apply digital tools in the teaching and learning process.
New families
New families interested in learning more about our educational model participated in specialised visits by stages, where they were able to discover our facilities and teaching philosophy.
