Acquire personal and social health skills and their projection into the world.
The programs of the International Baccalaureate (IB), designed for students aged 3 to 18 (from Pre-School to Year 12), are unique for their academic and personal rigor. They encourage students not only to excel in their studies but also in their personal growth. Our aim is to inspire a lifelong pursuit of learning, marked by enthusiasm and empathy.
We combine the International Baccalaureate guidelines with our Intervention Plan for Social, Emotional and Physical Well-being, providing a quality education that contributes to student happiness through responsibility, culture, innovation and socio-economic and ethical progress.
Coexistence at the school
Socialization is an essential element of the school stage. We want our students to find and maintain lasting friendships, learning how to make friends and be a good friend.
We give special support to new students, for whom we have prepared a support system with classmates of their age to help them integrate and feel part of our community from the first day.
Being a delegate in our school is a responsibility that our students know and value. They receive specific training to act as leaders of their group and as intermediaries between their classmates and the Tutorial Staff.
Led by a coordination team of several students from upper years (Y9, Y11 and Y12), the Counsellors, Mentors and Cicerones Programme is aimed at improving school coexistence in aspects such as the integration of new classmates and conflict resolution. They also work with collaborators and is integrated in the Guidance Service.
Physical health
Our youngest students, aged 2 to 6 (from EPS to K), are in full growth, so we encourage their early stimulation with the Basic Development Program (PDB) by Glenn Doman, which proposes circuits of movements in homolateral pattern, cross pattern, limb relaxation techniques, crawling exercises, crawling, brachiation, and walking.
Between the ages of 7 and 19 (from Year 1 to Year 12), students engage in weekly physical exercise tailored to the needs of each stage. Additionally, our students participate in complementary and extracurricular activities.
Environmental and social awareness
Our students learn about the importance of caring for the planet starting from Early Childhood Education (ECE). In each class from PS to K, there are Environment Captains for Light, Recycling, and Water (rotated weekly), who help remind their classmates of saving measures and awareness. This awareness is maintained throughout their schooling with various activities included in the curriculum.
One of the ten attributes of the International Baccalaureate (IB) student profile is being compassionate. Our students grow practicing empathy, sensitivity, and respect at all stages through different individual and collective initiatives. It's part of who we are, and they feel it deeply. In this regard, students lead the Youth Community Action Group (AJAC), which aims to channel and globalize community and/or volunteer actions, collaborating with more than 35 nonprofit organizations.
