Past, present and future

Our School was founded in 1886 by Mr. Francisco de Paula Ruiz Estévez, and eleven years later, it passed into the hands of Mr. José María Rey Repetto. Since then, the Rey family has been leading the Center, preserving its style and its foundational values.

We are also the only private school in Seville that has maintained its original location in the city center, in the heart of the historic district

We were one of the first schools to admit female students, in the 1930s.

We were the first school in Spain to include Chinese and Arabic in its curriculum.

We are the only center in Spain that has been part of the International Baccalaureate Board of Trustees.

We were the first bilingual school in Seville with native teaching staff.

We are traditionally one of the top schools in Seville in academic results for our students.

Starting from 2040, when our students in Early Childhood Education begin their professional lives, there will be new professions that we can only imagine right now. That's why we educate them to adapt to new environments and tools.

In a rapidly evolving, globalized world with a high life expectancy, the ability to update educational institutions is essential.

Permanent learning and versatility in sources of knowledge are more important than ever. Not only will they live longer, but they will do so in a constantly changing world, so they will have to update their knowledge and adapt their learning methods accordingly.
