School life is enriched by the Goñi y Rey Foundation has announced the call for scholarships “Mr Francisco Márquez Villanueva” y “Mr Julio López Mejías”, aimed at students interested in pursuing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in the Seville International College – San Francisco de Paula during the courses 2026/2027 and 2027/2028.
The application period will be open from 6 to 10 July., and it is aimed at students with high academic achievement and strong potential, who also meet the established economic requirements.

An opportunity for access to educational excellence
The aim of these scholarships is facilitate access to excellent international training to students with fewer economic resources, promoting equal opportunities and talent development.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) It is a programme recognised worldwide for its rigorous and balanced approach, aimed at training students with a International mindset, critical thinking and civic engagement. Currently, more than 6,000 centres in over 160 countries they offer their programmes.
Candidate requirements
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- To have been born in 2009 or later
- To have obtained a Minimum average mark of 9.0 in the final year of secondary school.
- To meet the established family income criteria in the Umbral 3 according to current regulations
Scholarship award
The scholarship covers:
- Tuition fees
- Teaching
- International Baccalaureate Fees
- International exam fees
- Specialised technical books and school supplies
All of this during the Two-year duration of the Diploma Programme.
Required documentation
The candidates will need to submit the following documentation:
- Academic certificate for the final year of Compulsory Secondary Education.
- Tax Return Statement (IRPF) 2025 justification or exemption certificate
- Personal CV with academic and extracurricular achievements
- Student personal statement (maximum one side of A4 / 3,000 characters) explaining their motivation
