Eureka CIS-SFP: innovation, entrepreneurship and talent in Year 6 and Year 8

Eureka CIS-SFP start-up days has celebrated a new edition!

Eureka CIS-SFP Aufstart is a programme developed by D. Jaime Aranda in which the students of Year 6 and Year 8 develop innovative projects by combining creativity, technology, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Throughout this initiative, students have worked as a team to Identify real problems and propose viable solutions, presenting their ideas before a jury made up of external professionals.

Year 6 Winning Projects

In the category of Year 6, the students have been noted for their ability to apply technology to areas such as sustainability, health, and inclusion:

🥇 First prize: HYDROGLOW (Y6A)

Members: Carlota Álvarez Cañete, Alicia Fernández Balbás, Lucía González Gallegos and María Rodas Leal.

  • A project that combines cosmetics and technology via an app that allows for skin analysis and personalised product recommendations.
Second prize: GREENLIFE (Y6C)

MembersRocío Carrión Mayorga, Wen Xin Sonia Chen, Celia Del Corral Trujillo and Noah Pfeifer González-Moya.

  • An initiative focused on sustainable consumption, promoting reusable products to reduce plastic use.
Bronze award: EAT OK (Y6C)

MembersAlberto Junior Morales Verdini, Nicolás Enrique Nelson Filgueras, Gonzalo Pantoja Vivancos, Gabriel Vacarelu and Shun Luis Zang.

  • Application that facilitates understanding food information, specially designed for people with dyslexia or communication difficulties.

The pupils of Year 8 They have presented proposals with a more advanced approach, focused on applied technology, sustainability, and the improvement of daily life:

  • Application that integrates Social network, information and commerce for dog owners, creating a digital community around pet care.
Silver prize: DRESS MY DAY – DMD (Y8B)

  • App that helps choose outfits by combining them Climate, agenda and personal style, optimising daily decision-making.
Third prize: TECNOBOLI (Y8A)

  • Multifunction pen integrating technology for improve concentration and learning in the classroom.
