Presentamos el Plan de Estudio 2026-27: un proyecto educativo pensado para el futuro

140 years of respect, hard work and a tradition of progress.

In a constantly changing world, education must also evolve. Aware of this, the Colegio Internacional de Sevilla – San Francisco de Paula presents its Curriculum for the 2026-27 academic year, a project designed to offer comprehensive, individualised and international education from 0 to 18 years of age. Our approach is based on academic excellence and preparing students to successfully face the challenges of the future.

Pre-School (0-2 years): learning while growing up happily

The Nursery School stage ranges from Crèche to K and focuses on accompanying children in their early years with activities that stimulate emotional, motor, linguistic and social development. We foster a safe, creative and stimulating environment where natural curiosity is awakened and the foundations for lasting learning are laid.

Primary Years Programme (3-10 years): inquiry and critical thinking

In the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), we emphasise inquiry, critical thinking and active learning. Students explore global issues that help them understand the world and apply what they learn in real-life contexts.

Middle Years Programme (11-15 years): skills for the future

The Secondary stage is developed through the Middle Years Programme (MYP), fostering essential skills such as collaboration, communication, interactive use of digital tools, creativity and transdisciplinarity. Each unit culminates in final products to put the knowledge and skills acquired into practice.

Baccalaureate (16-18 years): university and personal preparation

During the Baccalaureate, students can choose between the Diploma Programma of the International Baccalaureate (DPIB) or the High School Diploma, both of which are valid for admission to national and international universities. Students deepen their academic and personal development, preparing to pass the various university entrance exams (International Baccalaureate and PAU exams).

A goal-based curriculum for a comprehensive education

The Curriculum is structured around seven fundamental goals that guide the entire educational journey: developing an international and multicultural mindset, creating new knowledge, enjoying the value of culture, assimilating digital advances, fostering autonomy and leadership, promoting health and well-being skills, and facilitating access to university.

Taken together, this Curriculum reflects the School's commitment to offering a high-quality, personalised and international education that not only addresses academic content, but also the comprehensive development of each student, preparing them for a future full of opportunities.
