Y8 students participated in the Eureka! CIS-SFP Start up days in which they worked on entrepreneurial skills with the aim of proposing solutions related to some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, which address issues of current relevance such as climate change, economic inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice, among others.
The students created working groups to develop their own original project with the guidance of mentors, who helped them with recommendations to improve their proposals through guidance sessions. They set out their progress in the Eureka! passport, a document in the form of a canvas in which they set out the reasons and key points of the project (objectives, audiences and potential clients, marketing and promotion plan, etc.). They presented their idea with a video and a previous research on the audience and the market, a professional job!
Eureka! CIS-SFP Start up days are a great experience in terms of training and coexistence, fostering new bonds between students.
During the Year 8 days, the following teams were awarded prizes:
- First place: Iluminación Balle.
- Second place: KEKOMER.
- Third place and public prize: WILLBE.
We would like to congratulate all the groups for their efforts and encourage them to continue developing such innovative ideas as the ones they presented to us. We would like to thank the mentors, the organisers and the jury for their collaboration with our students.
