Pre-School (EPS, PS, PK and K)
The San Francisco de Paula Pre-School works independently but is coordinated with the School. Here, our 3 to 6-year-old students receive their education following a bilingual programme in Spanish and English along with introduction to French. The programme includes a support system for those students with more difficulties in the Logical-Mathematical Area, in Communication and Language and Natural and Social Science (through English).
Primary PEP-PYP (Y1 – Y5)
The Primary Education is preferably accessed from the San Francisco de Paula Pre-school, where we follow a bilingual Spanish-English plan.
Due to the bilingual programme followed, students from San Francisco de Paula Pre-School have priority of admission to the primary school. Therefore, depending on availability, students from other centres will be given places if they have sufficient knowledge of English to follow subjects taught through this language. In Primary Education, the bilingual programme taught in the Pre-School (English/Spanish) is intensified continuing the introduction to French and by adding German as a fourth language.
Secondary PAI-MYP (Y6 – Y10)
Secondary Education (ESO) is taught at the School in accordance with the criteria and methodology of the Middle Years Program (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB). This programme is designed to foster the students’ open-mindedness, make them aware of the global reality and favour their personal involvement in the progress of society.
Baccalaureate DP/HSD (Y11 – Y12)
Our “Bachillerato” (the traditional Spanish Baccalaureate) is designed not only as preparation for University, towards which we guide all our students aspire to but also as preparation for the professional world to which the students are incorporated after their university studies. Teaching these levels continues to be inspired by the principles and criteria of the International Baccalaureate Organization, criteria that meet the guidelines of the Bologna Plan and the orientation that will be given to university education.
